 About Praia da Luz
Praia da Luz six kilometres west of Lagos, is a former
fishing village with cobbled streets and an old church standing
in the main square. It has developed into a small friendly
holiday resort. Praia da Luz has a gently shelving beach with
golden sands. The beach has a Blue Flag and lifeguards are on
duty at all times.
Praia da Luz is an idyllic place to stay. All the
essentials for a great holiday are close by and leisure
activities are plentiful, from the active to the relaxing.
Golfers are spoilt for choice with 3 excellent courses -
Boavista,  Parque de Floresta and Palmares - all less than
15 minutes drive away. There is also fishing, sailing, scuba
diving, water skiing and surfing available.
Praia da Luz also has health spas, beauty therapy, tennis
and horse riding.
